 Petición para acabar inmediatamente con el sufrimiento de cientos de animales en Zihuatanejo, México. Dirigida a: Felipe Ramírez Ruiz de Velasco, Director General de vida silvestre en México, y afiliados.
Nosotros, los ciudadanos de Canadá, Estados Unidos de América, México, Alemania y resto de Europa, firmamos esta petición con el fin de pedir:
1.) Que TODOS los animales (todos los mamíferos, aves, reptiles y anfibios) que se encuentran en la propiedad de Rebeca y Richard Payne en Zihuatanejo, México, sean removidos inmediatamente de ella. En este mismo momento, mientras usted está leyendo esta petición, hay cientos de animales sufriendo, obligados a vivir en condiciones nefastas en un reducido terreno, propiedad de Rebeca Payne. Estos animales, aparte de vivir en jaulas totalmente inadecuadas a sus necesidades, sufren malnutrición severa, procesos infecciosos, heridas abiertas sangrantes y supurativas, infestaciones parasitarias, así como estrés y alteraciones en el comportamiento graves.
2.) Que todos y cada uno de los animales (todos los mamíferos, aves, reptiles, anfibios) removidos de la propiedad de Rebeca Payne sean inmediatamente examinados por un veterinario licenciado y que cada uno de ellos reciba tratamiento médico veterinario apropiado.
3.) Que todos y cada uno de estos animales (todos los mamíferos, aves, reptiles, anfibios) reciban cuidados y rehabilitación adecuados a sus necesidades por personal cualificado. Insistimos que cada uno de los animales, después de una rehabilitación adecuada para ello, sea examinado por personal cualificado para evaluar sus posibilidades de ser liberado y reintroducido con éxito en el medio natural. Si esto no fuera posible, serán transferidos para su cuidado permanente a una institución reconocida por el estado que garantice su bienestar y seguridad, de acuerdo con las leyes mexicanas e internacionales de protección animal.
4.) Que se prohíba legalmente de por vida a Rebecca y Richard Payne poseer o mantener cualquier animal (todos los mamíferos, aves, reptiles o anfibios), domesticados o silvestres, según las leyes vigentes. Insistimos que, si ellos deciden violar esta prohibición, deberán ser sancionados de acuerdo con la ley.
Como todos sabemos, los animales no tienen la habilidad de decirnos que están sufriendo. Aún así son seres vivos, y es responsabilidad de los humanos protegerlos y darles un trato humanitario. Pedimos a usted, como cargo oficial con la misión de proteger y gestionar la fauna silvestre, a actuar correctamente y usar su poder para liberar a estos animales indefensos de las nefastas condiciones en las que se encuentran, y que les están causando gran sufrimiento.
**** Nota: Adjunto encontrará dos (2) declaraciones de testigos que han presenciado las atrocidades a las que se encuentran sometidos estos animales, así como las pésimas condiciones en las que se encuentran, lo cual se está permitiendo, año tras año, en la ciudad de Zihuatanejo, estado de Guerrero, México.

 Petition for immediate action to stop the suffering of hundreds of animals in Zihuatanejo, MexicoTo: Felipe Ramirez Ruiz de Velasco, Director General for Wildlife in Mexico, and anyone affiliated,
We, the citizens of the Canada, United States, Mexico, Germany, and Europe do hereby sign this petition to:
1.) Demand the immediate removal of ALL animals (all mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) from the property and possession of Rebecca and Richard Payne in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. This very moment, as you read this letter, there are hundreds of animals suffering, and being forced to live in appalling living conditions in the small backyard of Rebeca Payne. These animals are suffering from completely inadequate caging, severe malnutrition, horrid oozing infections, bloody open wounds, parasites, and extreme stress and mental cruelty.
2.) Demand that each and every animal (all mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) removed from Rebeca Payne's possession will be immediately examined by a licensed doctor of veterinary medicine, and that immediate and proper medical treatment be given to each animal.
3.) Ensure that each and every animal (all mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) will be provided with appropriate care and rehabilitation by a licensed facility with properly trained personnel. We insist that each animal, after the appropriate amount of time in rehabilitation, be properly evaluated by trained personnel, and will either be released back in to the wild, or transferred into the permanent care of a licensed faculty that will guarantee the heath and safely of each animal under the animal protection laws of Mexico and all applicable International laws.
4.) Demand that Rebeca and Richard Payne be permanently and legally banned from ever owning, possessing, or housing any animal (all mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians) domestic or wild, for life. We insist that If Rebeca and Richard Payne should ever choose to defy the rulings against them, that they be prosecuted without delay, to the maximum extent of the law.
As we all know, animals do not have the ability to tell us when they are in pain or suffering. They are living things, and as human beings it is our responsibility to protect them and treat them humanely. As officials charged with the duty to manage and protect wildlife, we urge you to do the right thing, and to use your power to free these helpless animals from the extreme suffering and distressing conditions which have been described.
****Note: Attached please find two (2) eyewitness reports of the horrid animal atrocities, and suffering that is being allowed to continue year, after year in the city of Zihuatanejo, state of Guerrero, Mexico.

 PetitionWir (die Unterzeichnenden) fordern sofortige Handlung um das Leid von hunderten von Tieren in Zihuatanejo, Mexiko zu beenden.
An: Felipe Ramirez Ruis de Velasco, Generaldirektor für Naturschutz in Mexiko und an alle angeschlossenen Beamten.
Wir, die Buerger von Kanada, USA, Mexiko, Deutschland und Europa fordern mit unserer Unterschrift:
1.) Die sofortige Entfernung aller Tiere (aller Säugetiere, Vögel, Reptilien, Amphibien) aus dem Besitz von Rebecca und Richard Payne in Zihuatanejo, Mexiko. Während Sie diese Petition lesen, leiden hunderte von Tieren dort. Sie sind gezwungen unter entsetzlichen Lebensbedingungen ihr Dasein in dem kleinen Hinterhof von Rebecca Payne zu fristen. Vor allem leiden die Tiere unter dem vollkommen unzureichenden Käfigen, starker Mangelernährung, schrecklichen sickernden Infektionen, blutenden offenen Wunden, Parasiten sowie extremen Stress und mentaler Grausamkeit.
2.) Dass jedes Tier (alle Säugetiere, Vögel, Reptilien, Amphibien), aus dem Besitzt von Rebecca Payne, sofort von einem staatlich anerkannten Tierarzt untersucht und behandelt wird.
3.) Dass sichergestellt wird, dass alle Tiere (alle Säugetiere, Vögel, Reptilien, Amphibien) angemessene Pflege und Rehabilitation in einer staatlich anerkannten Einrichtung mit ausgebildetem Personal erhalten. Wir bestehen darauf, dass jedes Tier nach einem entsprechenden Zeitraum in der Rehabilitation von ausgebildetem Personal genau eingestuft wird und entweder in die Freiheit entlassen wird oder einer staatlich anerkannten Einrichtung, die die Gesundheit und Sicherheit gemäß den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen in Mexiko und gemäß internationalem Recht für jedes Tier garantieren kann, zur dauerhaften Pflege und Haltung übergeben wird.
4.) Dass Rebecca und Richard Payne ein dauerhaftes Tierhaltungsverbot ausgesprochen wird, dass alle Tiere einschließt (alle Säugetiere, Vögel, Reptilien, Amphibien), Haustiere und Wildtiere. Wir bestehen darauf, dass im Falle der Widerhandlung, eine sofortige strafrechtliche Verfolgung aufgenommen wird.
Wie wir alle wissen, können Tiere uns nicht sagen wenn sie Schmerzen haben oder leiden. Tiere sind Lebewesen und es liegt in der Verantwortung des Menschen sie zu schützen und artgerecht zu behandeln. Wir bitten Sie als Beamte beauftragt mit der Pflicht Wildtiere zu schützen, dass Richtige zu tun und Ihre Befugnis zur Befreiung dieser hilflosen Tiere einzusetzen, damit das Leiden und die schrecklichen Lebensbedingungen dieser Tiere ein Ende findet.
***Anbei sind zwei Berichte von Augenzeugen über die schrecklichen Zustände und das Leiden, dass Jahr für Jahr weitergeht für die Tiere in der Stadt Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico.
